Kalpit Veerwal has been a high-achieving student throughout his life, being the first and only student in history to get a perfect score in the India's most widely-taken engineering entrance exam, IIT-JEE (Mains). In this talk, he answers the question: what makes an extraordinary student? Kalpit Veerwal has been an extraordinary student throughout his life - aceing several exams like NTSE, KVPY, International Olympiads, and winning several prizes and scholarships in his academic life.
Most notable of all, at the age of 17 he achieved All India Rank 1 in JEE 2017 among 1.2 Million students, becoming the only person in history to hit the full score of 360 out of 360, a feat registered in the Limca Book of World Records. He holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from IIT Bombay - finishing the degree a semester early.
Now an entrepreneur, he runs an educational technology company called AcadBoost that he started at 19 which trains school and college students for competitive exams, while also helping them learn practical skills to grow their careers.
In his free time, he likes making education videos on YouTube - inspiring millions of schools and college students with the power of the internet.
