Here’s how a typical morning looks for us on holidays. A slow start to the day with pancakes for breakfast and lots of cuddles and play on the couch.

I got a bit teary this morning. I saw a post on a rescue’s page about an old girl Rottweiler that had been dumped at 11 years old. The wonderful people at Iron Dog Rescue have taken her in forever so she never has to feel worry or rejection again. Only love. I tear up thinking of our beautiful Freddo and all those times he’s made that drive to the pound and been handed over. What he must have felt each time. Gee it really gets me. Sorry for the sad note, I really am, it was just how I was feeling. But the positive point, I’m getting to, is look at him now on this typical morning with his family. He’s not having a cry like Aunty Sam at all, all he’s feeling is happiness and love. Every single day.

To all those who have rescued and continue to adopt thank you so much for giving these special souls a second chance at love ❤️ … to all those very special people like those at Iron Dog Rescue and Dee at Central Coast Animal Care Facility you are hero’s in our books. Forever grateful for the work you do without question, without hesitation, without thanks a lot of the time. Thank you.
