The Donald and Ronald Smith case was solved by looking further into investigations because they incorrectly incarcerated Donald Smith who happened to be identified by witnesses at the scene as well as match the same DNA. Donald Smith earnestly claimed that he didn't do it and instead offered a usual defense. He said his identical twin brother, Ronald Smith, was to blame, according to police. Fortunately, it was uncovered that Donald Smith had an identical twin and got mixed up with his other brother Ronald Smith.
